Thursday’s PM Forecast Update | 4/20

From the KX Storm Center:
Across Western & Central ND, it started off cloudy with continued scattered showers and a cool feel. Through the midday & afternoon, clouds have been gradually moving out and revealing more sunshine. Clearing will continue with more sunshine expected this evening & tomorrow. However, developing fog is in the forecast. Tonight, patchy fog is expected and it could become dense from 10pm through the early AM hours. Use caution if you are driving in any fog, especially if it becomes dense. Tomorrow fog will lift up and burn off, followed by more sunshine and temps climbing to near/above average highs. Saturday will bring a few changes. Temps will still top out in the 60s, and a weak front will move across the state. This means more clouds (that will come & go) with the chance for a few areas of scattered rain, possible. No severe weather is expected and not everyone will get wet. But do not be surprised if a few showers develop. That being said, the rest of the weekend will bring in & out clouds with winds picking up and higher rain chances as we go into the beginning of the work week. Expect a moderate to strong breeze with 10-20mph winds G30+ possible Sunday & Monday, as our next system brings rain chances through the Dakotas. From Monday (through the mid-week) temps will fall back into the 50s with off/on rain chances.
Tonight, mostly clear to partly cloudy and cool. Developing fog possible and it may become dense for some. Lows in the 30s with a N/E wind 2-10mph.
Friday AM fog will lift up and burn off, followed by another round of sunshine with a little more warming. Highs in the 60s with a few 50s and a SE wind 2-12mph.
Friday night, mostly clear with in & out clouds with a cool feel. Lows in the 30s with a few 40s and a Light wind out of the Southeast, 2-10mph.
Saturday will start off with plenty of sunshine. Our next system will move through Western & Central ND with slightly cooler temps in its wake. Partly cloudy with in & out clouds and a few hit & miss showers. Highs in the 50s & 60s with a SW/NW wind 5-15mph G20.
Saturday night, a few showers ending with some clearing and a cool feel. Lows in the 30s with a few 40s and a NE wind 5-15mph G20, becoming breezy at times.
