Josette Timian takes over as the new volleyball coach at Bismarck High.
BPS announced the coaching hiring in an announcement on June 7.
According to the press release:
“Timian, a 2011 Bismarck High School graduate helped her team to a state championship victory in 2010 as a Demon. She pursued her collegiate volleyball career at Mayville State University where she earned her spot on the court as a four-year starter and earned many awards – The conference’s “Most Valuable Player” and was also awarded as a three-time All-American. After graduating from Mayville State, her passion for volleyball continued, Timian remained on the volleyball team as an assistant coach before returning to Bismarck. She assisted the St. Mary’s High School volleyball program in 2016, and now looks forward to returning to her home court as a Demon.”
The position became availabe after Shari Hewson stepped down on April 25.
