If you thought about going out to eat tonight or tomorrow – you could see a few more law enforcement officers at your dining table.
More than 100 law enforcement officers will be volunteering their time to host guest in Applebee’s all across the state.
They are doing this raise money and awareness for Special Olympics North Dakota.
Last year, Robert Roed said that Tip A Cop raised 2,300 dollars in Minot and statewide – it equaled out to 23,000 dollars
“100% of the donations that we receive in the next 2 days will go to Special Olympics right here in North Dakota and it guarantees that every athlete is able to participate without being charged,” said Robert Roed, Ward County Sheriff Captain.
From 5-9 pm tonight and tomorrow you can come to Applebee’s and tip a cop.
Events are taking place across the state including here in Minot, Bismarck, Dickinson, and Williston.
