You might think it’s a little too early for motorcycles to be out on the roads already, but now is when they usually start coming out.
Drivers often times have issues seeing motorbikes because they’re a smaller vehicle.
Officials say— slow down and use a safe traveling distance— with a minimum of 3 seconds between your car and their hawg.
Lonnie Bertsch, ABATE of North Dakota, says, “Cars do pick up sand, gravel, and rocks and throw them at the motorcycle riders. Don’t deliberately drive in that gravelly spot on the road when you do pull out and make a left hand turn look twice.”
In hazardous weather conditions— you do want to be futher away because a motorcycle does not have windshield wipers.
