News

Happening At The Capitol Today

Two bills relating to DUI’s
One would seal the records of people convicted of a DUI
This would be for anyone who pleads guilty to a DUI, or if a person was charged with a DUI seven or more years ago.

Another bill would ban the use of DUI checkpoints.
It states a member of law enforcement would no longer be allowed to stop a vehicle to determine if someone is breaking the law.
Under this bill, the officer would have reasonable suspicion in order to stop the vehicle.
