Today at the Capitol: Leaving your Car Running

Today at the Capitol, a bill making it legal to leave your car running when you’re not in it.

Reversing current state law.

There are two bills looking at gun laws in the state, One bans firearm buyback programs.

The other would allow guns in schools for certified and trained staff.

School boards will have the power to decide if they want to have an armed first responder program.

Finally – two house committees will meet in order to hear a bill that relates to trespassing.

If passed, this bill would change law to say private land is no longer open to hunters if no “No Trespassing” signs posted.
