Lawmakers will consider a bill to put breathalyzers or another type of alcohol test systems for sale at bars.
State Senator Kathy Hogan told us that she’s seen other states do this with success, and she believes it could help people make the right decisions.
Lawmakers are also proposing a penalty to pet owners who misrepresent their animals to be a service dog.
If someone is found to be doing this, that person would be fined $100
There’s another bill that would allow medical marijuana patients to grow their prescribed amount in their own home.
In House Education they’ll hear a bill proposing free tuition for your senior year of college if you are a North Dakota resident born and raised and are going to a state college.
And on the Senate floor lawmakers will cast their final vote on a bill requiring guns made in state say “Made in North Dakota” be stamped on the receiver or frame.
This received a unanimous do not pass vote in committee and is expected to fail on the floor.
