ND’s oil production up by 1.1%

Oil production is up by 1.1 percent, according to North Dakota’s Director of Mineral Resources.

Lynn Helms says this a good thing.

For the month of April, which are the latest numbers available, Helms says the state produced more than 1.1 million barrels of oil a day.

He adds the state set a new record for active wells by 100, bringing the state’s count now to 16,374.
