Most of you will be shopping Black Friday for all those Christmas gifts, but some
parents in Dickinson won’t have to worry about that, because one of the biggest retailers in town will be filling in for jolly Ole’ Saint Nick.
Menards is holding it’s TH Annual Toy Drive for kids in Dickinson.
The store sets up a big bin in front of the store that people in the area can fill up with toys.
The store likes to partner up with a non-profit every year for the holidays , and this year it was the United Way of Dickinson.
Menards general manager, Austen Rife said they always get a big turnout with hundreds of donations, and the employees love taking part in the holiday giving.
“Last year we had a team remember who donated their entire Christmas bonus towards donating toys for the toy drive. They nearly filled up half a box. It was very generous of that team member,” said Rife.
The store will accept donations through Nov. 30, and the United Way of Dickinson will deliver them before Christmas.
