A traffic stop in Berthold ended in the seizure of cash and drugs and the arrest of two people from New Mexico.
Berthold Police Chief Al Schmidt reports a man and woman were in a vehicle that was stopped on Highway Two in Berthold on Tuesday.
The driver, 41-year-old Zvenny Scarbrough, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
Schmidt says a search found almost eight thousand dollars in cash and ocycodone pills valued at about five thousand dollars.
The two were charged with possession with intent to deliver, a Class A Felony carrying a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
They are due to appear in court for their preliminary hearings in December.
