Transmission Line Cuts Power for Thousands

Thousands of people were without power today after a piece of equipment failed at an MDU delivery substation. 
The outage affected multiple companies.
It started about noon.
MDU says McKenzie, Sterling, and Driscoll were all without power for about an hour.
Capital Electric was also affected.
At it’s peak, about 6 thousand customers were without power. 
Capital is still working on getting power restored for their customers.
They hope to have it back up soon.
