Tree disposal sites now open

Now that the Christmas presents under the tree have been opened, your local public works department wants to help you get rid of that live tree.

In Minot you can drop off your live tree at Oak Park, or at the corner of 16th St and 16th Ave SW.

In Bismarck residents are asked to drop off their tree at the landfill located at 2111 N 52nd St.
Curbside disposal is still picking them up in both Minot and Bismarck.

Residents in Dickinson are asked to drop them off at the Baylor Building located at 3389 Energy Drive.

Williston residents can drop them off at the public works department and the Western Star Complex.

“We offer these as an added service to the residents that when it comes time to take down your Christmas tree and maybe you just want to get rid of it get it out of site of mind you can bring it over here,” said Josh Kraft sanitation superintendent for the City of Minot.

All cities ask that you take the Christmas lights, ornaments and base off before you dump it.
