A Minot man accused of trying to kill a man who helped convict him of a drug crime says he wants a trial.
45-year-old Travis Yoney also told the judge he is unhappy with his court-appointed attorneys.

He says they have not pursued his requests for a speedy trial.
Judge Gary Lee said he would review those requests.

Meanwhile, Yoney is scheduled for an April 15th trial on five felony charges.
Investigators say he burst into a southeast Minot home in August and shot at a man who had informed on him in an earlier drug case.

Yoney is facing up to 45 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
