Tuesday’s Forecast Update 5/30

From the KX Storm Center:
Across Western & Central ND it is mostly sunny to partly cloudy and breezy. Strong winds will finally wrap up. Through the next several days there will be a lot of changes. These include calming winds, warming temps and rain chances returning by the end of the work week. Before all of these take shape, one more round of chilly temps is expected tonight. Overnight lows will be in the 30s with a few 40s. That being said, the National Weather Service of Bismarck has issued a Frost Advisory until 8:00 am CDT. In the advised area, temps will fall into the low to mid 30. Widespread frost is possible with light winds and few clouds.
After one more round of chilly temps tonight, temps will climb through the 70s on Wednesday & well into the 80s by Thursday. It will also be a little breezy on Thursday and the biggest changes are expected through the end of the work week. Scattered showers & thunderstorms are expected Friday & Saturday. At this point, no severe weather is expected. However, rain & thunderstorms may pose a few problems for anyone traveling. There are several state matches for high school athletics, this weekend. So keep this chance for scattered rain/storms in mind while participating in or attending any outdoor activities. With rain chances up, a system will bring temps down slightly through the weekend and into next week.
Tonight, mostly clear and a little cool. Lows ranging from the lower to mid 30s, into & 40s with a North/SW wind 2-10mph.
Wednesday will be sunny and not as windy with warming temps. Highs in the 70s & a few 80s with a South wind 5-15mph.
Wednesday night, mostly clear and not as cool. Lows in the 40s & 50s with a SE wind 2-10mph.
Thursday, plenty of sunshine with continued warming temps and it will be a little breezy for some. Highs well into the 80s with a few 90s (West) with a SE wind 5-15mph G20.
Thursday night, mostly clear and mild. Lows in the 50s with a few 60s and a SE wind 5-15mph.
