Tuesday’s PM Forecast Update | 4/18

From the KX Storm Center:
Across Western & Central ND, it has been cloudy today with a break from rain. Through the next couple of days, more changes are expected. Tonight, will be a little chilly with clearing for most of the state. But, rain chances return Wednesday. Expect more widespread rain with a few thunderstorms possible. Storms will not be as organized as last night and temps will stay near/below average for this time of the year. So, no severe weather is expected with tomorrow’s rain chances. After rain fizzles out Wednesday night, clearing will lead to plenty of sunshine as we wrap up the work week. Thursday, highs climb to either side of 60 followed by more sunshine and pleasant temps Friday. Going into the weekend, a second system will bring off/on scattered rain chances, but more sunshine means that temps will continue to top out well into the 60s. By the end of our 7day outlook, more rain chances and another dip in temps are all back into the forecast.
Tonight, mostly cloudy early with clearing and a chilly feel. Rain chances will return through the early morning hours, after more clouds roll in. Lows in the 30s with a few 40s and an East wind 2-10mph.
Wednesday, mostly cloudy with a good chance for scattered rain and a few thunderstorms. Highs in the 50s with a few 40s (South) and an East/SE wind 2-12mph G20. 60% chance for rain.
Wednesday night tapering rain chances, followed by some clearing and another chilly feel. Lows in the 30s with a few 40s and a SE/West wind 1-8mph.
Thursday, clearing early revealing plenty of sunshine and some warming. Highs in the 60s with a few 50s and a West/North wind 5-15mph G20.
Thursday night, partly cloudy and a little chilly. Lows in the 30s with a North/NE wind 2-10mph.
