Two people are in custody after a high-speed chase.
Early this morning, the North Dakota Highway Patrol discovered a stolen vehicle traveling west on Interstate 94 near Sterling that had fled from the Jamestown Police Department.
When Highway Patrol tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver took off at a high rate of speed.
Officials report that two of the vehicle’s tires were spiked, but the driver continued to drive.
After several devices were employed in an attempt to stop the vehicle, it finally went into the ditch near the State Street exit in Bismarck and stopped.
Two occupants were taken into custody at 7:37 a.m.
The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
