Two Bismarck Houses Shot at Wednesday Morning

News

Two Bismarck houses were shot at early Wednesday morning.

The first house was at the 700 block of Telstar Drive.

The owner called police Wednesday morning to report nine bullet holes in the siding of their home. Police responded around 8:10 a.m.

Two victims were home at the time, but police are unsure if more people were in the house. The owner said they did not hear gunshots. No one was injured.

The second house was at the 500 block of N. Bell Street. The shots were fired somewhere between 2:00 and 7:30 a.m.

Police responded around 7:40 a.m. When they arrived, officers found at least five bullet holes, and at least one broke a window.

Officers recovered two slugs from inside the home. One bounced off of a painting and landed on a dog bed. Four victims were in the house at the time. A neighbor also heard a rapid succession of cracks overnight, but the owner did not hear the gunfire.

There were no injuries reported.

There are no suspects at this time. Bismarck Police are asking people to call if they see or hear anything about the crime.

The charges are for reckless endangerment, discharge of a firearm in city limits and criminal mischief.
