UMary to See a Possible Waitlist

University of Mary is reporting a 33-percent increase in admissions from this time last year.

Students may have to be waitlisted for the incoming Fall semester.
U-Mary has a goal of 480 incoming freshman.
They are expecting that number to be closer to 500 — which will be a record.
They say the numbers are up because they are investing in their students.

Chip Hinton, Director of Undergraduate Admission at the University of Mary, says, “Our Fall recruitment has gone so well that we thought imprudent to notify those folks who have already involved in the process that it’s possible that we might have to have a waiting list. We think right now we will be able to take care of everybody who might apply by May 1.”

There are still 7 months to go in the admission process.
