North Dakota’s first all-age free dental care event is coming to Bismarck toward the end of September.
Known as “Mission of Mercy,” the two-day, volunteer staffed clinic will provide free dental care to anyone in need on a first come, first served basis.
Some of the free services include cleanings, fillings, extractions and more.
Services not provided include, implants, crowns, molar root canals and removal of unexposed wisdom teeth.
Mission of Mercy is set for the Bismarck Event Center on September 28th and 29th, starting at 5:30 a.m., each day.
“Dental professionals understand that oral health is an important part of overall health and are motivated to make a difference in people’s lives,” said Brent Holman, chairman of the North Dakota Mission of Mercy. “Events like the Mission of Mercy provide an opportunity for us to do just that – deliver care to people who face barriers to regular oral health care.”
Organizers expect more than 600 patients from the Bismarck-Mandan region could be served during the first-of-its-kind event..
