United Blood Services is encouraging you to give more then gifts this season.

They say their blood donations usually drop off during the holidays and during the summer.

The center in Minot will temporarily move their location while they get some renovations done.

Minot residents can still donate blood but starting January 2nd you’ll have to go to the Dakota Square Mall.

United Blood Services will be located at the old Vanity building across from Bath and Body works.

The center on North Hill will still be open the week of Christmas, and they hope people donate.

“Either they don’t have time or they don’t want to make time or they’re busy shopping or at family events but it’s still super essential cause cancer doesn’t take a vacation, car accidents definitely don’t take vacations,” said supervisor Lori Gray.

They hope to be back in their original location in 60 days.
