The University of Mary is opening the doors to a brand new facility

The new student center is the third building that has been added to the growing campus over the last 14 months.

The new addition includes a 24-hour dining hall, student lounges, and founders hall.

But school officials say their main goal behind the new center is to give students a space of their own to connect.

“This entire facility has been built for our students, for their enjoyment, for their development, and for their growth,” Chip Hinton, director of undergraduate admissions says.

“I think it really supports the idea of community. You can walk anywhere on campus and find someone you know and I think that’s a very special part [of this campus] and this building really supports that,” Emma Hanley, Junior at University of Mary says.

The Lumen Vitae Student Center was funded by private donations and is now open to students.
