Police arrested one person this afternoon for disorderly conduct in connection with pipeline protests that took place at several locations.

This morning at about 11:00 a.m., a group of approximately 100 protesters began to gather at the intersection of 4th Street and Main Avenue in downtown Bismarck.

They then marched to Wells Fargo bank at 4th and Broadway and then to the Federal Building.

Bismarck police arrested Thomas Dominguez-Lopez, 24, Henderson, CO for disorderly conduct.

He was taken to the Burleigh County Detention Center. Once he was arrested, the rest of the people who were blocking the streets returned to the sidewalk, where they remained gathered for about 20 minutes before leaving.

They then went to the Mandan Law Enforcement Center.
