UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled: 18 month-old-baby found safe

Grand Forks, ND – An 18-month old girl abducted by her mother has been found and is unharmed.

The two were found in Grand Forks, ND where the abduction was first reported. A sheriff’s deputy said Social Services was attempting to take custody of the child when the mother took her and ran.

An Amber Alert was issued for an 18-month-old in Grand Forks.

Jaylee Azure is believed to have been abducted from a social service office in Grand Forks around 2:23 p.m. today, Thursday August 2nd.

Jasmine Davis is a suspect in the abduction.

Azure is 2 and a half feet tall, has brown hair and brown eyes, and may be wearing a pink mini mouse shirt.

Davis is a 21-year-old Native American.

She’s 5’7″ with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say she has a tattoo on her left forearm, and was last scene in black clothing.
