Now is the time to make sure you’re getting everything in place to be able to vote.

The Burleigh County Auditor’s Office is reminding all voters to update their driver’s license address information before November 6th rolls around.

Having up-to-date information ensures you’re listed in the right polling location and are handed the correct ballot.

You can update your license at the North Dakota DOT by walk-in, or you can schedule an appointment online or by phone.

Burleigh County Auditor and Treasurer Kevin Glatt says, “The best way to make the voting experience good for you and everybody around you, the people in line behind you, the election workers: is to have a driver’s license with an updated address.”

Glatt says the earlier you can get to the DMV the better. That helps make sure poll books are accurate when they are printed prior to election day.
