UPDATE:Minot police investigating body found in parking lot



New developments:

After further investigation, the man was identified as 42 -year-old Jeffrey Tanberg, of Minot.

At this time, law enforcement told us no foul play is suspected.

However, the investigation is ongoing and an autopsy is scheduled in Grand Forks.


Minot police are investigating a dead body found today in the city’s Public Works Department parking lot.

Around 6:30 this morning, police and medical crews responded to a report of an unresponsive male in the parking lot.

On arrival, it was determined the person was deceased.

No other details are immediately available and police say the situation remains under investigation.
