The downtown streets have been taken over! It’s the 14th annual Urban Harvest in Bismarck.
The fun starts today and continues every Thursday until August 16th, and there’s entertainment for the entire family. The event offers music, local vendors, and lots of food on 4th and Broadway. Each week.. there will be different artists performing concerts for visitors. As for the people who’ve attended before.. they say it’s an event they wouldn’t miss.
Mike Swenson; Director of Urban Harvest: “The music, the food, the people. It’s downtown Bismarck on a Thursday afternoon. There’s no school, there’s no excuses to not come down and have fun.”
Urban Harvest is open from 11 to 8 for the next 6 Thursdays.
Just a block away, German Days preparations are happening in the Bismarck Depot parking lot.
The event is put on by the Downtowners Association and it’s the 4th year it’s been put on.
German days begins tonight at 5, and lasts until Saturday evening. You can buy a day pass for $5, or a 3-day pass for $12. The event celebrates Bismarck’s German culture with authentic music, beer, activities, and of course food!
