Dining is fun when you know where your food comes from.
Farmland to Fine Dining is an event taking place in August in a farm field nestled next to the bluffs of Huff Hills. You can enjoy a meal prepared by a professional chef with all local ingredients.
You can visit with local Ag producers and catch a glimpse of where your food comes from.
We spoke to Angil Wanner-Koper and Dave Lehman about why they created this event.
Both of them are involved with Leadership Bismarck/Mandan, a committee that works to develop local leaders who actively participate in and support community progress. This is one of the three projects they are working on this year.
Its a farm to fork type of event bringing the agricultural community together with the urban community focusing on where your food comes from.
There are many food trends like gluten-free and organic food, so it’s a way to give information regarding these topics.
They said there are only about 100 tickets and their website will launch June 3.
