It was a family affair at the Mandan Horse and Saddle Club family rodeo.
Horsemen and women from beginners to experts spent the day sharpening their skills.
Families came out to enjoy the nice riding weather … while also watching kids and adults compete.
Events ranged from roping events, speed events like barrel racing, to Goat Tying.
One participant says it ‘s an opportunity to learn and grow as a horsewoman … in a more laid back environment.
It’s fun to watch all the little kids to get a good ground on the events and it’s awesome just to hangout,” said Morgan McDowall of the Mandan Horse and Saddle Club.
The Mandan Horse and Saddle Club will be hosting another family rodeo July 9.
