A welfare check in Lincoln, N.D. led to the seizure of 20 marijuana plants Monday.
Officers were called to a home in Lincoln after a man reported someone was in his neighbor’s house without permission.
When police arrived the man had left, but they later located him at his own residence.
Officers were concerned for the suspects’ medical wellbeing and transported him to a hospital for treatment, but while in the home they observed illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia.
After obtaining a search warrant they discovered more illegal drugs, including a full marijuana grow operation.
