It’s Wellness Wednesday, and today, we are gearing up for the most colorful event of the year.
Emily Medalen is live from the YMCA with a volunteer for the annual Color Splash Fun Dash.

Hi Tim and Amber, we’ve spent the morning talking about this colorful, fun event that provides funds for YMCA programs.
I’m here with Amber Bernhardt, Campaign Director for the event.
Good morning, Amber, thank you so much for being here with me this morning.
Why is this event so unique – besides the obvious of throwing colors into the air?
The event is unique because it’s so much more than just a run/walk. There is a dance party with live music before and after, its not competitive, and it’s something that everying can come out and enjoy.
The money goes towards incredible programs at the YMCA that help kids and adults be in the best shape they can – and the programs keep them safe as well.
Registration is $30 for one person, and $25 for a group or family.
