Williston’s hospice program is looking for a little love.
The program will begin its annual fundraiser next week called, “Hearts for Hospice Challenge”. Hearts will be available at local participating businesses and can be purchased for as little as $1 or as much as $50.
The money raised goes towards funding the program for the upcoming year.
“We’re doing some exciting things. We have different programs going on. And just really wanting to bring awareness to the fact that hospice is something that’s for life and dignity and we’re here to promote that life during this journey,” says Emily Pipkin, a social worker with CHI Health at Home.
The challenge will last a month beginning on January 15th and ending February 14th.
There will also be a Hearts for Hospice event February 17th. Tickets are $30 and there will be dinner and music.
