Woman Arrested After Crashing Stolen Vehicle

A 22-year old Bismarck woman is accused of crashing a stolen vehicle this morning. 

Bismarck police responded to 8th Street and Bowen Avenue at 9:58 a.m. this morning. 

The woman was driving southbound on 8th Street when she hit a vehicle being driven by a 62-year old Minnesota man driving east on Bowen Avenue.

Shortly after the wreck, it was reported to police that the vehicle the woman was driving had been stolen from the 2600 block of Rosser Avenue, where it had been left running unattended. 

She then fled the scene on foot but was caught near the Kirkwood Mall. 

She was taken to a local hospital for her injuries, and was then transported to Burleigh Morton Detention Center.

The Minnesota man had two passengers, an 87 year old Bismarck man and 84 year old Bismarck woman. they were both taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
