Woman Wanted for Child Abuse Now in Custody

Update:  A woman wanted for child abuse is now in custody.

Court documents state that Corey Gardner caused significant injury to a child she was caring for.
The 2-month old girl had several injuries to her head and body.
The incident happened in early November.
Gardner had been caring for the child as an unlicensed daycare provider.
She has denied any wrongdoing.
A bond hearing is scheduled, but no trial date has been set.

Original:  A warrant is out for the arrest of a Williams County suspect accused of abusing a 2-month old girl. 

Court documents state that Corey Gardner caused significant injury to a child being cared for during the day. 

The 2-month-old girl had several injuries to her head and body. 

Including an occipital bone fracture, brain swelling, oxygen deprivation and a broken left arm. 

The incident happened in early November. 

Authorities issued a warrant for Gardner on Wednesday.
