Over forty vendors gathered at the Ramada Inn for a Women’s Day Out.
The afternoon of shopping and socializing offered more than a good time. It was all put together in order to raise money for breast cancer patients.
There was also a silent auction and it went to support Pink it Foward, which is a non-profit that was created by a family of survivors.
Pink it Forward Co-founder RueAnn Gallagher says it began, “by myself, my sister, my cousin in Fargo and her daughter, and three of the four of us are breast cancer survivors. So after we were done with all of our treatments, we wanted to find a way to give back and to pay it forward. That’s how ‘Pink it Forward’ was born.”
Money raised today will go toward creating care packages for women battling breast cancer.
