The residents of Burlington can honor one of their own every time they step foot in Des Lacs Burlington High School’s new gym,
Town and Country Credit Union donated a new scoreboard in memory of Haley Sundsbak.
Sundsbak died last year in a boating accident on Strawberry Lake.
Haley was a Burlington resident and basketball enthusiast.
(Christopher Bachmeier, Superintendent) “She loved basketball..They’re a great family. It’s nice to have our community come together for such a tragic event. So it’s been awesome for that. Now there’s a remembrance of her in her hometown for a sport that she loved.”
The scoreboard is part of DLB’s new gymnasium and major construction project.
