A one-hundred thousand dollar grant has been awarded to the Roosevelt Park Zoo.

The money is from the Minot Area Community Foundation Bremer Impact Fund which will help fund the big cat exhibits – specifically the cat walk in the Amur Tiger River Valley.

This is the largest donation from the Bremer Impact Fund.

The money brings the zoo a little over half way to their goal of six million dollars.

The zoo will be breaking ground this spring on the new cat exhibit.

The goal is to have the exhibit done by their centennial year in 2021.
