The Bismarck Senators have stepped up their play over the past week.
Bismarck has won six of their last seven games and their hot play comes at crucial part of their season. This week, the Senators hit the field six times in four days. The teams said the difference in their play was been their offensive approach at the plate.
“Everyone was in on their at bats,” Senators outfielder Ryan Heilman said. “They weren’t throwing them away they weren’t disengaged, they were doing what they should. We had five hit by pitches and we didn’t bail out of them, we were just making a quality at bat.”
The Senators start their six-game homestand tonight against Dickinson at Haaland Field.
