The Bismarck Bucks have a new leader on the sideline this season and in the front office.
The Sallberg family, which was the majority owner of the team for the first two years and ran the team out from Minneapolis, is now the minority owner in the team.
The former minority owner, BEK Communications, takes over as the majority owner, this according to Bucks General Manager Heidi Ripplinger.
This means BEK will have the majority of the seats on the Board of Directors, which makes decisions on the direction of the team including front office and coaching decisions. BEK CEO Derrick Bulawa assumes the role of managing owner partner.
The name of the ownership group, which is Dakota Football LLC, will remain the same.
