Big Sticks ‘excited’ as franchise’s first game draws near

In a little more than two weeks, the Badlands Big Sticks’ will play their first game in franchise history.

Most of the players are expected to report the week of May 21. Then the team will have a couple of practices on Tuesday and Wednesday before they hit the road for their first game in franchise history on May 25.

“It’s fun to see that all the hard work is about to pay off, general manager Jason Watson said. “We’re hoping to fill the stands especially for our opening series.”

The Big Sticks first home game is June 1.
