Bismarck Bobcats looking to vault up standings in pivotal series

The Bismarck Bobcats have snapped a two-year playoff drought by qualifying for the postseason, but the team’s work is not done.

The Bobcats are only one point out of third place and three points out of second place. The team’s resurgence can be tied to the great play of goaltender Johnny Roberts, who earned Goalie of the month for the entire NAHL in February.

“Obviously,” Sedevie said, “his numbers in the month of February were pretty much astronomical. It’s a big reason why we have gotten points in all those games. I think he’s had some great team defense, but when we need a big save Johnny’s been bailing us out.”

This is the Bobcats finally home regular season weekend series. They will take on the Austin Bruins, who are currently in third place.
