Bismarck High girls basketball looking to “slow down” offensively

After opening the season with a blowout win against Fargo North, the Bismarck High girls basketball team has hit of bit of rough patch.

The Demons have lost four of their last six games, including a one-point overtime loss at Williston. The team says they are learning a lot about themselves during these the early struggles.

Senior Megan Henderson said a recent loss to Jamestown stands out as a game that they can learn from.

“That we need to slow down and really face up and create shots for each other,” Henderson said, “instead of just taking the easy way and just shooting on our first pass.”

Bismarck High next plays at Minot Jan. 5.
