The Bismarck Larks are off to a strong start for the 2018 season.
Through the first 15 games, the Larks are tied with the Duluth Huskies for first place in the North Division.
Right now, Bismarck averages over five runs a game. However Field Manager Sean Repay does not want the team to rely on hitting because any team could go through a dry spell.
“I think we left a little too many guys on base,” Repay said. “We produce a lot of base runners, we just could not get them in. I told our guys after the game, I said, ‘We can’t score nine, 10 runs every game.'”
Bismarck is back on the field tonight. The Larks go for the two-game series sweep against the St. Cloud Rox.
