What a difference one player has made for the Bismarck High boys basketball team.
Since senior Canyon Stonecipher returned on Dec. 14 against Williston, the Demons are 3-0 and have not allowed an opponent to score over 60 points.
In Canyon’s second game back, he put up a team-high 21 points and 10 rebounds.
The Demons look like a completely different team and even Canyon’s teammates are happy that their 6-foot-4 center is healthy and back in the lineup.
“That’s a huge help with him,” Bismarck High senior guard Joe Jahner said. “He’s going to lead us in rebounding and points around the hoop. So that’s going to help.”
The Demons go for their fourth straight win on Dec. 21 at St. Mary’s.
