Boys HS Hockey: Century looks to rebound after first loss

National Sports

The Century Patriots suffered their first loss of the season Friday night.

The defeat came when they surrender an overtime goal to Bismarck High.

For Century, the game was the first time all season the Pats were shut out and did not score at least six goals.

Unfortunately for the Big Red Scoring Machine, their next time on the ice is Saturday… so they have an entire week to think about the loss.

“These kids grow up going to all the Century-Bismarck games and seeing how much fun it is,” head coach Troy Olson said. “It’s really a privilege for them to get to play in them. It’s not an experience every high school kid gets.”

The Pats travel to Williston this Saturday for a game that starts at 4:15 p.m.
