Boys HS Hockey: Mandan gives up early lead in loss to Minot

National Sports

The Mandan boys hockey team lost 6-2 to Minot on Jan. 25 at the Starion Sports Complex.

Mandan got on the board first. Quinn Halstengard fired a shot on a breakaway, but Minot’s goalie accidently knocked the puck in his own goal trying to prevent a rebound shot from the Braves

Minot tied the game at 1 midway through the first.

The Magicians went on to win, 6-2.
