In boys high school hockey, the past month for Mandan has been a seesaw.
First, they won three straight games and then lost three straight. In those last three losses, the Braves have been outscored 28-0.
Despite the rough stretch, the 7-8-1 Braves are still in fifth place in the West and they are ready to turn their season around.
“There’s some game where we could have won,” junior forward/defensemen Nate Lillis said, “but I expect better throughout the season. We’re hoping to do good and make it to February and State.”
Mandan’s tough road continues tonight when they host Minot. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Starion Sports Complex.
