Boys HS Swim and Dive: Century feels ‘heart’ will make difference at State

National Sports

In boys high school swimming and diving, Century continues to rack up impressive numbers in the pool… but the only number they care about is the No. 1.

Last year, Century came up 11 points shy of their sixth consecutive state title.

Last Saturday, the team went to the West Fargo Invite and finished second, but the Pats were almost 200 points behind the winner: Minot

Century says they know what will be the difference at State.

“I would say the difference is the heart that we put into the team,” Jayden Porter said. “How much we care for each other and how supportive we are for each other and how much we really want to put another banner up on that wall.”

Century is back in the pool on Friday when they host the multi-dual at 3:30 p.m. at the BSC Aquatic Center.
