Last season, the Century boys basketball team came up one win short of a state championship.
The Patriots return six players that were in the top eight rotation.
However, losing in the title game really stood out to the players and will serve as a motivator early in the season.
“You try not to dwell on the past,” Josh Sipes said.”but it’s in the back of your mind. It’ll be some fuel to the fire to really get a good start to the season.”
On Dec. 2, Century hits the floor for their first game of the season. The Patriots will host Mandan at 7:45 p.m.
