Boys HSBB: Legacy excited to return home

National Sports

Legacy returns home after a tough trip to Gillette, Wyoming.

Last weekend, the Sabers were in Gillette, Wyoming and the games did not go well.

Legacy lost all three contests. The good news is these matchups do not effect their ability to make the state playoffs, but the team knows the area they need to improve.

“Just playing a as team,” Jason Hoekstra said. “Maybe communicating a little more on defense. We’re a defensive team. Our coach loves defense. So we can always play better defense to help us out.”

The schedule does not get easier. As Legacy faces one of the top teams in the state in Mandan on Thursday.
