The Bismarck Bucks won their regular season home opener against the Kansas City Phantoms on Mar. 9 at the Bismarck Event Center.
Bismarck’s opening contest was delayed 10 minutes because the Phantoms had issues with their roster.
After things were sorted out, the Bucks scored their first points of the season on a safety. Kansas City’s center snapped the ball high and off the finger tips of their quarterback and the ball went through the back of the endzone.
Bismarck’s offense looked explosive most of the night. The Bucks scored 67 points and only allowed 30 in their win.
Next week on Saturday, Bismarck plays the Salina Liberty.
